Towards billions of smiling tummies

For Lantmännen Unibake Denmark, we are looking for a Senior Category Manager to manage the Wheat Bread category sold across all channels in Denmark as well as internationally through the 21 sister companies. You will be responsible for the development towards a more sustainable bread portfolio and will more specifically take on the following exciting tasks: 

• Set the direction and ambitions for the Wheat Bread category in Lantmännen Unibake Denmark
• Turn data and insights into strategic and tactical recommendations and initiatives
• Optimize recipes in collaboration with the product developers to drive efficiency and profitability
• Drive value-adding product launches in collaboration with global innovation and local sales and marketing teams
• Develop and execute category plans and business cases for new concepts and initiatives
• Identify market opportunities and ensure that the company meets customer requirements by being on the forefront of sustainability and other consumer & market trends
• Motivational management and development of two Product Managers
• Budget Management 

You will be based at the office in Horsens, where you will be part of the Marketing & Innovation Management Team and report to Marketing & Innovation Director, Mette Børsting Hofman. 

Since a major part of the product portfolio is produced at the bakery in Holstebro, you can expect to work on-premise at least once a month as well as participate in various external meetings with colleagues and partners.
