Join us at AUTOproff in Denmark for an exciting new opportunity! We're currently in search of an ambitious and results-driven Group Financial Controller to join AUTOproff in Vejle.

About the role

As our new Group Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future trajectory of AUTOproff's financial assets and optimizing the performance of our financial systems across various business domains and countries. 

Your key responsibilities will encompass the formulation and execution of financial policies, controls, and protocols. You'll also spearhead ongoing reporting to Senior Management and shareholders while actively contributing to the evolution of key performance indicators (KPIs).

A critical aspect of this role involves paving the way for AUTOproff's forthcoming expansion. As the new Group Financial Controller, you'll lead the charge in digitizing our financial processes and tools. By doing so, you'll ensure that the Finance organization becomes a catalyst for our future growth.

In your day-to-day operations, you'll report directly to our CFO and collaborate closely with a dedicated team of finance professionals situated across various AUTOproff locations and countries. This collaboration will extend to external financial service providers as well, fostering a comprehensive approach to financial excellence.

Your areas of responsibility will cover the following areas: 

• Prepare monthly financial reporting in according to financial standards for Management and external stakeholders  
• Diligently monitor the company's financial position at all time and act in a timely manner as needed
• Drive ERP implementation across AUTOproff entities together with internal stakeholders and parent company
• Ensure confidence in financial reporting through a strong relationship with management, board and external partners and investors 
• Define, implement and present KPIs supporting the growth strategy of AUTOproff
• Plan and manage all audit and internal control operations and adhere to financial laws, accounting standards and guidelines
• Subject matter expert on accounting and key contact to external advisors on transfer pricing, tax, financial compliance etc.
• Business analysis supporting commercial decisions as needed 

The need-to-have skills:

• Experience from working in a senior finance role for minimum 5 years combined with a background as auditor, financial controller or similar 
• MA in accounting, finance or relevant field
• Thorough knowledge of corporate financial operations including statutory reporting and accounting standards 
• Hands on experience with MS Office and financial management software
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
